Anyone can become a Re-seller. All you really need to qualify is to know people who can benefit from our products.

If you are a professional computer graphics designer you will no doubt be in a better position than most. A good way to start is to offer our products to existing satisfied clients.

If you are not versed in computer graphics you can sub-contract the work to a professional. Searching the web will provide you with a seemingly unlimited supply of resources. Nearly everyone has family and friends who can use our products. You can start there and move on once you are comfortable with the process.

What's Involved In Re-selling?

You place your customer's order in your name using your established account. You then send the necessary images for the order to us via eMail. As the end purchaser you will recieve the Product Readiness Notification which you can pass on to your customer in whole or in part.

You are also responsible for payment to Digital Specialties for the order. A good rule of thumb is to require 50% up front and the balance upon completion. This provides your client with a reasonable comfort level and you have the funds to pay for the expenses of the project. Remember, your customer's product license is not activated (the product will not function) until the order is paid. It's really as simple as that.

How do I Become A Re-seller?

Your first order is charged at the current default rate. Each subsequent order is automatically charged at the current default rate less the current default discount. The discount schedule is intended to accommodate businesses with satellites, subsidiaries and branches. It is also intended to provide incentive to independent sales persons to generate sales. So, as you can see, you can begin receiving the Re-seller discount after your first order. If you qualify, the discount can be applied to your first order - see the next section.

How Much Can I Make As A Re-seller?

Let's use The Calendar as an example: Your first order will cost you $300.00. Each subsequent order will cost you $300.00 less your automatic discount of $200.00 or a total of $100.00. if you charge your clients the current default rate of $300.00 you will net $200.00 plus what ever you net on the computer graphics necessary to complete the order.

Enhancing Your Re-seller Status

If you are a graphics artist, advertising agency, etc., contact us and we will set you up so that your discount can be applied to your first order. Further, if you can promise a large quantity of orders we can negotiate a greater discount for you. To find out if you qualify and to discuss terms please feel free to contact us.

When you place your first order you will be given the option to "Re-sell Digital Specialties applications".

If you select this option (opt-in) there are four items you can provide which will appear in the 'About' section of your client's personalized Digital Specialties application (see example image at right).

The green link [Your Company Name] shown in the illustration can link to your web site (not required) where you have total control over your promotions and where Digital Specialties remains anonymous by link.

This information will allow others to contact you if they are interested in having you produce a personalized Digital Specialties application for them.

Changing Your Account Profile

If you did not opt-in as a Re-seller you can opt-in or opt-out and change other attributes of your Re-seller Account Profile at any time by going to Account Profile. Keep in mind that there is a $10.00 Revision Fee each time you change your Re-seller Account Profile. The reason for this fee is that Digital Specialties must create and upload a new product license reflecting the change(s). The new license is updated automatically by the user's application the next time it is executed or daily at 12:00 PM CST. An open Internet connection is necessary to accommodate updates.
